The Assistant Manager must have a strong sales and customer service background in order to capture as much business as possible and keep our existing customers happy. He/She will assist the Manager as needed in many facets of facility operations, including collections. He/She is required to assist the manager with marketing, telephone inquiries, data entry, and other office work. The Assistant Manager is enthusiastic, energetic, and has a friendly demeanor.
The Manager is the first line of contact with prospective customers. He/She is responsible for renting units, reading and creating daily reports, setting up tenant files and accounts, ordering and selling supplies, handling transfers, move ins and outs, traffic count, daily inspections, collections, auctions, customer service, marketing and special projects. Managers are required to have excellent phone presence, customer service abilities, bookkeeping skills, and computer experience. The Manager is energetic, reliable, and self-motivated.
The District Manager’s (DM) position will oversee the on-site operations of self storage facilities and its Management teams. The District Manager will be responsible for hiring and training high quality on site managers. The DM will provide performance feedback to the property management teams and motivate these teams as necessary. He/she will be responsible to maximize revenue and reduce expenses. The DM will report to the Director of Operations and work closely with the corporate office. He/she is personable and thinks quick on his/her feet.
